RECENTLY ADDED- Director, Superintendent, and Clinical Supervisor giving personal funds to juvenile for outings. Initially requested contract provider to 'increase' the cost of program for specific juvenile to allow for extra curricular funds due to no petty cash funding within IDJC... contract provider refused to falsify their records. It is also a violation of policy to provide personal money or gifts to the juveniles.
This 'successful' juvenile has been in Ada County since before release due to aggravated assault on care staff. (see Repository info below)

RECENTLY ADDED- Harrigfeld helping out her nephew...
The need for drug dogs was due to drugs being taken into the facility. Hmmm... don't believe the 'dragon slaying' went so well.
Cloud sums it up well... 'bad crap happening'. Yet leadership continued to condone conduct/behaviors or keep things quiet. Apparently she was looking to jump ship at some point before just deciding to retire. And her comment that 'I cry when I talk...'... welcome to what she had subjected many staff to over the years!!
How about that... a 2011 lawsuit that the department decided to settle. And in answer to the question... yes, we talked; but Floyd maintained confidentiality and never disclosed the settlement agreement. Just like the following conversation between Cloud and Grimm.

It was rumored by two staff that Ledford would tell staff she could do what she wanted and couldn't be touched.
